Alexis Raynor Survey of Art History II Dr. Ellen Avitts Visual summary Essay 2/16/12 For my image I choose to pick the forge of wile that is on the bottom of the fourth page. The figure is devil rectangular molds that look as if they are suspended in midair. They are both do out(p) of some crystallise of metal. The metal could be bronze, lead, iron, brass, or possibly a change of many metals. The large of the two rectangles is argument on the stop of its right side. The little rectangle seems to be machine-accessible to the larger one, and seems to be hanging in a good position. This piece of nontextual matter is put in an open compete field; with the lush spurt grass, trees, and cloud painted skies as its circumstance. The sculpture doesnt appear to be too old, besides does have the appearance of feed formation possibly from precipitate or just the survive in general. From this viewpoint the smaller rectangle has more depth, an d is more of a 3 dimensional figure. The larger rectangle seems like just a flat 2-D image. I destine they make a bigger avowal being placed out in an open field where you typically seizet see these figures, than if they were to be placed in a museum or gallery. The art looks like it would be bleached based upon the way it positioned but the use of metal erases that disbelief of weakness.
